Aun recuerdo cuando se presentaron las novedades de Ubuntu Hardy Heron y la ilusión que me hizo cuando se dijo que se incluirá PulseAudio. Nunca lo había probado, pero había oído que tenia muchas opciones y cosas "guays". Ahora, yo, al igual que todos, estoy teniendo problema con este programa. Pulseaudio es bueno si te interesa usarlo y es configurado. En Ubuntu, viene activado pero no esta configurado, por lo que lo único que hace es joder la marrana. No cumple sus cometidos, solo esta ahí, ocupando espacio y fastidiando.
En mi caso, por culpa de Pulseaudio no me funciona Skype, Wine y muchos otros programas. Por ello, como tampoco no necesito gran cosa en la calidad de sonido y no me interesa pelearme para que funcione, he pensado que se puede "inutilizar" Pulseaudio.
Para hacerlo (Gnome) tenemos que hacer lo siguiente:
- Vamos a Sistema, preferencias, Sesiones.
- Quitamos de la lista a PulseAudio.
- Reinicia la sesión y... ¡¡Listo!!
